Bill O'Halloran
Bill and Pat have been in Alaska for the past 28 years. They have a true love of the outdoors and a passion to share it with folks from all around the world. Bill has always been an avid outdoorsman and has enjoyed hunting and fishing around the planet. Bill had a very enjoyable career as a military pilot and together he and Pat have circled the globe. He is rated as a commercial pilot, flying both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft and has extensive experience flying all over the wonderful wilderness of Alaska.

Pat is truly the driving force that makes the business work and she runs the office and keeps the books. She is an expert on Alaska as well and has certainly caught her share of huge fish around the state. Bill frequently watches when Pat is along, as he knows from experience that she will likely be the one who gets the top trophy! Pat occupies much of her spare time enjoying our two wonderful twin grand children and our incredible daughter, Dana. You can read about Dana's husband below. Bill and Pat have a son, Brian, who lives in Anchorage and is an avid duckhunter. He will also be a familiar face in the fabulous new duck camps in the interior.

Bill and Pat know that successful business results from having folks arrive as clients and always leave as friends……

North Country River Charters has been featured across the nation on several television shows such as Outdoor Life Network's "North to Alaska" with NFL Hall of Fame star Larry Csonka and Fox Network's "Outdoors with Doc" series. We have been featured in many publications including Ducks Unlimited (January 2007), In-Fisherman and the February 2005 Fish Alaska magazine. Larry Csonka and the "North to Alaska" film crew joined us again fall 2006 to film a "Cast and Blast" show for VERSUS Network. The excitement was live on air numerous times this season. Two separate shows of the fun!

Roger is one of the best of the best when it comes to knowledge of wilderness fishing and hunting in Alaska. He has lived in Alaska for many years and works for NCRC year round. He has intimate knowledge of the business and possesses the people skills necessary to have folks smiling….every day! Roger runs the crews and always makes sure every detail is taken care of. Roger too, had a military career and rose to the very top of his field. He has the experience and education to keep everything running smoothly and provide the utmost in adventure. Roger never tires of fishing and you can find him in one of the boats fishing when all the guides and clients have worn out. He has learned the behaviors of the biggest fish and has that magical touch to know how to make them bite. It seems everyone ends up with a nickname here and sometimes Roger has heard "Mom" around the camp. He is a true Master Fisherman!

Joe Kazense
Fishing Guide
& Duck Guide
Joe Kazense
Joe is the epitome of a guy who loves the wilderness, fishing and hunting. He smiles constantly and brings great outdoor talents to the group. Fish with Joe for an hour and you'll want to come back for more! He has fishin' stories he hasn't even made up yet! And despite the fact that there appears to be a bird admiring Joe's fish, that is just a typical Alaskan Mosquito. We don't allow mosquitos in camp and generally use a shotgun on ones this size! Everyone enjoys time with "Torch" or the "Rainbow Kid". Joe is a long time NCRC guide and a solid guy on the water or in the blind!

Brian Mills
Fishing Guide
Brian Mills

Brian joined NCRC in 2006 in our Yukon River Pike Camp. He is a trout and salmon fly fishing enthusiast but has found a new love in pike fishing. He is at home using spinning and bait casting gear but his favorite way to catch big pike is on the surface with a fly rod. He enjoys helping people catch pike of all sizes but, as you can see from his picture, really loves the big, cuddly ones. Brian also runs his own custom rod building & repair business and handles the maintenance on our rods. You can see some of his work on his website www.fishonthefly.biz and you can have fun watching "Speedy" do his thing before dinner!
